COVID-19 and Reopening Updates

Below is a collection of helpful information and resources to help with your questions as the St. Clarence community works to reopen.

Latest on Parish Reopening

Consistent with the Diocesan plan we resumed daily mass on Monday,  May 25 at 8:30 a.m.  All masses will be held in the main church. Our weekend masses began on Pentecost Sunday, May 30-31. For the time being we will maintain our regular weekend schedule of masses as follows: Saturday 4:30 p.m. and Sunday at 8:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m. and 12 noon. We will re-evaluate these mass times as we move forward in our reopening journey.

Mass will look different in order to meet the safety requirements of the State of Ohio and the Diocese of Cleveland.

The Parish Office and the Bookstore are open and have resumed their regular hours.

PSR and Other Gatherings and Events

After finishing lessons online the PSR year has now ended. Information regarding registration for next year will be available in early Summer. First Communion and Confirmation have been rescheduled. Contact the PSR Office with any questions about these sacramental celebrations at 440-734-2078 or PSRsecretary@st-clarence.org.

St. Clarence Youth Ministry will begin to resume in-person sessions consistent with the Ohio State Guidelines soon.

Any scheduled parish events of 10 or more people have been cancelled until further notice. If you are part of a small group, check with your leader to see what your options are for continuing to meet through an online platform.
