BLESSED
SACRAMENT CHAPEL
The Eucharistic Chapel
houses the Blessed Sacrament and therefore it is a sacred place of
prayer and silence. It is sometimes necessary for parents of
small children to remove them from the Main Church and bring them to
the Chapel. This is the exception and not to be considered the
norm.
Adults with serious
physical problems may find the Chapel more convenient; again, this is
necessary and understandable. What is not permitted is for adults
to use the Chapel as their primary place of weekend worship instead of
the Church.
The Chapel is never to
be used as a place to socialize, as a coatroom, a cry room, a changing
area, etc. Please keep this space for Worship and Daily Mass
sacred and prayerful!
PASTORAL
VISITING TEAM
If a parishioner is
hospitalized and would like to receive a visit from a member of the our
pastoral visiting team, it is necessary for the parish office to be
notified very soon after the admission. Hospital privacy
regulations no longer permit the hospital to inform the parish.
Please call the parish office 734-2414.
The same policy applies
to nursing homes. If a parishioner enters a nursing home for
either short term or long term care, we would be most happy to add that
person to our visitation list! Please let us know.
Let us know at that time
also, if you would like to be listed in petitions or in the parish
bulletin for prayers.
MARIAN GARDEN
This is a lovely season
for enjoying personal prayer and meditation in our Marian Garden.
Parishioners are very welcome to spend some time enjoying its peace and
serenity.
PRAYER SHAWL
MINISTRY
The Charity-In-Action Prayer
Shawl Ministry has had overwhelming support from our St. Clarence Faith
Community! These prayer shawls have proven to be wonderful gifts
of prayer and comfort offered to those in need of physical, emotional
support or other kinds of losses. Those who are active in making
these prayer shawls pray as they work for the person who will receive
it.
Truly these are beautiful gifts
of prayer offered from the talents of our parishioners. Everyone
remains anonymous - both the giver and the receiver since this is truly
a "Gift from the Heart."
The CIA coordinator of this
project is Carol Rocky who can be contacted at 440-235-2771 if anyone
is interested in participating in this prayer shawl ministry.
SANCTUARY
GUILD
Our Sanctuary Guild,
cleaning of the Church, is in serious need of volunteers to offer one
hour of light dusting, vacuuming, etc. on Saturday mornings, 9-10
am.
Your turn would occur
once every five or six weeks, so this is not a weekly commitment.
Men, women and teens are very welcome to volunteer. Please call
the parish office at 734-2414.
